Hopeless Dreams

Lost in love that brings me
hopeless dreams
Dreams that slowly fade
away with the passing of time
As my heart sinks into this
dark abyss of death

Tears stream down this
pale face of mine
Know the flame that was
lit went out in smoke
Time can not heal these
deep wounds within

I see you standing in
the moonlight night
In a pale white dress
