Poem -

(untitled)

A loose line's lyric

A man greedily getting his sleep
While he owes money, the way

He doesn't use his eyes,

Hears only what he wants to hear.

Blissful in his own ignorance. Maybe I'm even envious, the sleepless nights I've had for the most silly of reasons has just been put into perspective.

I think dear Rory, the way ... Is redundant in this poem, but that's just my thought dear Poet.

While he owes money, the way
While he owes money...

Great topic. 🌹

My favourite, Paul Simon

I don't expect to sleep through the night

To quote Sylvia Plath: The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.

What if he should read it some day.
He'll know it's him, this is a fortnightly occurrence.

I don't have the guts

I love Sylvia Plath she was the underdog in her marriage and she was smarter than anyone writer her husband knew it as he was also a writer and probably that's why she killed herself, that's why she wrote such dark stuff. And why she wrote that quote.

(You don't need guts to write a poem on paper you just need guts to share it) Shirley quote
