'Untouchable!'

'Untouchable!'

Exquisite Arctic sculpture
frozen in frigid contempt
aloof muted perception
hostility for suitors sent
Porcelain femme fatale
with heart of defective glass
haughty in glacial remoteness
be guarded of male mass
Beauty her perilous accomplice
biting at brittle form
erects a barbed defence
to potential emotional storm
Unrequited want contrived her
embittered steel ice of core
no key in Universe design
will release her stoney fatal flaw
At her forbidding touch
your blood to ice will turn
her curse as cold and heartless
as the man to her did spurn
Malevolent and desolate
in her ice prison blockade
doomed to remain eternally
the 'Untouchable'  Ice Maid

WOW!! WENDY!!..... this is fantastic...... as a narrative and newly created mythological tale!?.... the entire first half of this felt so fragile,...... as if the phrases themselves would fall apart at the slightest touch..... but then you wove in the icy hearted, malevolent, "ICE MAID"...... it was an amazing read......beautīfully delivered poetic weaving of words...... held together by stunning images that froze in my minds eye...... wow!!.......PINNED!!......incredibly creative WENDY ~as only you can wordsmith!!........ LOVE and ROCKETS!!........T xo.  ?✳✴☀

Wendy!!.....I can also see the fragile woman behind this tale........ hiding from the possibility of pain...... having been damaged by relationships before...... just didn't want you to think I wasn't truly comprehending!!...... smiles.......T xo.  ♥

Hi Tony you got this poem exactly. It is about a fragile woman who got hurt by been rejected by someone

she deeply loves. So she's shut herself down to ever been hurt again. But as I was writing I decided to turn

it to a mythical tale for more effect. All fun I'm so enjoying writing on this site x
