Poem -

Us and People

Us and People

Monotonously lost in the crowds,
seeking for a breath eye to eye with the clouds.
I step out once again, but reverse inside,
while I cannot decide,
if I am Me or just another fly lost in the sky.
Ashamed to name the crowd a crowd,
while I call myself a person.
Separate minds, like washed up stacks of tiles,
unable to glue and form a wall.
Tell me why, we do not cry for the people,
who everyday try and tie the life they got to have.
Why must we pay to live, while the gift of life was free.
Why do we look up to people but look down at trees,
while they are the reason we breathe.
We are the breed that must come awake,
to seek the silence in between the tweets.
An impossible mission to reunite with our home,
with out brothers and sisters whom we call strangers.
We must dissolve, amongst the master - minds,
who build nothing but a net worth.
Idolised by many, loved by none.
I pray to seek happiness in that what's free.
We are the millionaires, who select their priorities.
