Vaccination

Vaccination

Vaccination greets my sadness,
Stealing my quest to madness.
The lion now, tamed departure arranged.
Will we smile now, and wipe tears from our brows.

Many tears have been shed,
Many left us from their beds.
Many had empty cries, no proper goodbyes.

We will start again,
We will pick up the pieces,
We will build up our hearts,
We will embrace a new start.
In time we will understand what came to hand.
