Valentine's Day

In preparation for this day
I write this poem just for you.
Please believe I wish you may,
Not forget the guy you knew.

For he has grown to think a lot
About a beauty named Michelle.
Please believe I wish you not
Forget the ways in which I fell.

Her radiance has shown me light,
And led me down a path so right;
So please my lovely don't forget
About the strength a smile might
Possess for future reference please,
Because another facial gesture 
May just send another guy,
Fast upon his knees.
