VEGETABLE PEOPLE

I wonder if you know of Jimmy Barrett 
Has his hair coloured like that of a carrot 
Thin as a rake and he's over six feet tall 
Hangs around town by sitting on a wall 

Jimmy's best mate is a guy named Reg 
Describe him as a potato if he were a veg
For he could be chipped,mashed or fried 
Eyes likes hawks and his body rather wide 

The new girlfriend of Jimmy is Angelique 
Feisty young lass and Welsh as a leek 
Think he's known for just over a week 
Looking for more than a peck on the cheek 

This poem is now turning into a mess 
Just like the sandwich egg and watercress 
You may have noticed the vegetable theme 
I'll end it now before you let out a scream
