The Violets
The sun smiles upon the violets
And it becomes greyed by clouds
Now why it scarcely shines
For all the world combines
Hard looks at its simplicity
Garners only maleficent impulses
Lost in the twilight stars
But, whatever passes through the night
It lodges deep in the confines
Of a broken heart
Never to rise above its endless plight
Seemingly entrenched in the cold, dark mire
Oh, where there was a loving desire
That came from your tempting heart
And I am torn apart
By the monstrosity of tortured memories
I am like a man who has lost gravity
Cannot keep my feet still
Cannot keep my heart from beating
Because it is hopelessly entrenched
In the cold, dark mire
Where there was a loving desire
In your Β maleficent kiss
