Visit To The Sky

A visit to the sky! 

I miss not holding you,
The struggle of not hearing you when I know what you would say.
It's hard to get by day to day! 
It's a pain that never goes away
But we move on because we know your with us still as we go on,
And you come to visit us when we need to be pushed along 
I just wish I could visit you today
I'd sit on that cloud with you,
Or even watch you shine up the night sky like you do
I'd like to say I'd take in the different view but I know I wouldn't be able to take my eyes of you,
I would appreciate your words so much more,knowing you have seen a whole lot more
You have seen me now behind closed doors.
I would take all your advice so I know I'm keeping you proud 
I would like to hear your laugh and see your smile 
I'd like to give you my time
Then I'd thank you for being my light through the dark 
For bringing the sun after the rain
Because I know your with me through all the pain
I'd give anything to see you again!
