Void Of Life
Staring into this barren wasteland void of life and desolation
Our own destruction has decimated this prosperous nation
We were warned by God to turn from our wicked ways
Or His mighty hand would destroy the inhabitants of this place
His Words fell on deaf ears as we were blinded by our inhibitions that spiraled out of control
If but only 10 righteous souls were found, then the cities would not be burned to the ground
There were no good people left to come forth from this God less abyss
All were left was the mighty angels who rescued lot and his family from a scorched land
Lot's wife was told not to look back but could not resist temptations wrath
Lessons learned from which this story is true
God was willing to save all for a sinless few
