Poem -

Waiting

As I sat on the bench

waiting,waiting,waiting

for my journey yet to begin

Pied Wagtail skipping across the road

as I am

waiting,waiting,waiting

for my journey yet to start

The oak tree rustling in the wind

as I am

waiting,waiting,waiting

for my journey yet to began

A man and dog walks past

as I am

waiting,waiting,waiting

for my journey yet to get going

A green car approaches

as I am no longer

waiting,waiting,waiting

my journey has arrived
