Poem -

Waiting Skeleton

This castle is where I wait

Filled with the young dreams of a glistening tomorrow

Golden hopes are sown into my gown

It glows for you,

Every flowing like a wishing well

But now not even a penny is thrown in

Only shadows cradle my yearnings

The empty air craves the morning

A morning that brings the sword

And frees the longing heart

So I wait

Timeless space brings the dust to rest

Rust eats my crown

I wait

The flowers fade away

As cobwebs take their place

I wait

Bones dry

Moths feast on my dress

There I lay

A waiting skeletonĀ

But where is he?

Merely a knight stuck in a stable
