To know that these years are behind me now.....I won!Β Because I survived the madness.....and Angels, so can you....
WALKING IN A SHADOW
Wandering aimlessly through life
Always watching from afar
A dream that once took place in my heart
Is hidden from the world, sealed in a jar
When I look at the world around me
I hear the old echoes take their place
The ones I love have disappeared
My mind can no longer their face
Were all these years illusions Lord?
A want, a need, I had no cure
Is everyone just acting my Lord?
While they continue taking more and more
When I am spent and lonely
And I need answers to my failing faith
Who will be there to counsel me further, my Lord
Who will be there to help me bury this hate?
I only seek to understand
This cross of sorrow that I have to bare
Pain and lonleness keep me stuck on a track
And, negativity reigns feeding off these fearsβ¦

I am slowly coming back to society...and as I leave the last of the sorrow behind me...I can smile, knowing God has molded me into a stronger force to be reckoned with......and that is victory!
