Walking Together

Walking Together

Follow me
For I've resolved to lead you
Into pastures
You've yet to tread

Follow me
For I've resolved to read you
Recaptured
Tears and joys of men long dead

Follow me
For I've resolved to be you
Hereafter
Your hands, your feet, your head

Follow me
Being you
Being, me
Leading you
Going somewhere
Better than here

I'll try to be brief about the things that I liked in this poem...it's flow, you're good at keeping a cool flow, the ending..the fluidity it just felt right and smooth like a dream, and the repetition was right on..great write my friend
