WAR (Veterans Day)

WAR (Veterans Day)

In the dawns ealy light the rockets red glare as the bombs going off,
As the boys come marching in to war,Young boys trun in to men,
Young boys CRY!!! MAMA!!! before thay die, And mothers CRY!!!!
When thay hear there sons die, And fathers CURSE!!! the leaders of the world
That drink pink champagne and sing victory will be are's and ring the bells in
Church and say war is hell,For 1000 of years the trumpets would sound for war
And the ROMANS would march in to war carry there swords and spears and bows and
Thay would cut off the heads and hold tham up high and say victory is are's.
This weekend IS Veterans Day so stand up and say thank you to all the veterans out there
GOD BLESS THE WORLD AND PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL.

Greg just dug deep in your poem history and found this one and glad I am too of sorts.
A visceral write in places but that's the way war is and what it cruelly delivers.
And you are a good man choosing not to forget Veteran's Day and all those who fought for what's deemed right. Sometimes people lose sight of that and the sacrifice's involved.
For war is hell and war is waste and hopefully we'll all see and recognise that.
The sooner the better for all people's for even today there is no magic wand.
And Greg I clarion and champion your well worded and inspiring closing line.
Thanks for sharing with respect to you my friend and enjoy and cherish life.
