War zone

War zone

There was no power, only the sun illuminated your heart,
I was ok but then you didn't know exactly where to start,
but it was up to me to search and find wood for the fire,
and i needed good knowledge to which you may aspire.

I'd been a gamer shooting down everything in thhe way,
my shiny sword swished the air with strength every day,
monsters and ogres disappeared from my complete view,
they could never win no matter whatever they chose to do.

However, they weren't real like the barbs from your lips,
the traps, pitfalls, mind games and twisting curly whips;
but my experience won the day with good point scoring,
and overran any armoury that your pouting would bring.

I wished for no gloating victory, only a good bonus of love,
it was inevitable because my sword was from heaven above.
