WARNING: POISON

It will suck your very life out,
Like a vacuum of hateful spite,
This monster injected inside of you,
Will pull your lips back tight.

Its tail coils around your neck,
And strangles in the need,
For a needle in a suitable vein,
An insatiable appetite to feed.

Every second seems an age,
Every wait for it a lifetime,
Your mind inextricably tangled,
In deadly psychosis and crime.

The depression is a heavy burden,
When your lead balloon finally lands,
Coming down from methamphetamine,
Weeping tracks on the back of your hands.

You drink for relief from lack of sleep,
But this monster makes you wait,
Until it is good and ready,
And only then will it abate.

Three days of black-eyed adrenalin,
Shadows dancing on the wall,
They terrify you and make you jump,
But there's nothing really there at all.

A broken face, a head full of glass,
A blunt needle filled with malice,
Set ablaze inside you burn and smolder,
Having drunk from Satan’s’ chalice.

A delusional brain has taken over,
Acid sweat pours from within,
Your hair is matted and greasy,
And there's bugs crawling under your skin.
 
You cut and pick the bugs out,
Hoping they'll stop that crawling,
But they never seem to go away,
Is that not insanity calling?

Know this monster and let it not,
Invade your body and mind,
Else plunge headfirst into a nightmare world,
Of the bestial, brutal and unkind.
