Poem -

Was that a mistake?

Was that a mistake?

Bad with words
Good with eyes

Was that a mistake?

(Or) Was it what I said?

How could you believe the words

When you saw my eyes

Those poems that I wrote

Those shades that I wore

Was that a mistake?

(Or) Was it a misquote?

The choices that you made

The lies that you said

Was that a mistake?

(Or) Was it something that I've done?

Maybe everyone is alone

Maybe anyone could do

I chose you still

For that all I was worth

For that was all I had

Was that a mistake?

(Or) Was it all on my own?

Time is our Frenemy

Time is our Frenemy

We can learn anything we want

but there will never ever be enough time

to learn it all.
