Wasent a lie

Wasent a lie

We met when we was homeless
Two wandering souls together,
You said I should be a princess
That you'd treat me like one forever,
Some months later, me and you,  we found a flat
It should have been the start of something good.
I put my love and trust and faith in you
Then found out that I never should,
A can-man,  a theif, a lier
That's all you turned out to be,
You was actually very convincing
It took quite a time for me to see,
I begged you to sort your self out
To please come off the drink,
I could see a star behind those eyes
But you never once stopped to think,
I couldn't put up with it I had to leave
You see we could never see eye to eye,
I still think of you, I hope your ok
We just never saw eye to eye,
Its now been months since I saw you last
But I hope for you that's good,
I hope you found someone to love and cherish you
Who sorted you our, where I never could.
