WATCH ME RISE UP

WATCH ME RISE UP

I broke through the darkness Determined to fight
I fought my way out
Of that perilous night
The wounds you inflicted
They'll soon go away
But the scars are reminders
I live to fight another day
WATCH ME RISE UP
From out of the ash
I will witness defeat
Burn up and crash
I won't, do you hear me?
I won't let you win
I won't let you defeat me
Or get under my skin
I'm stronger than you ever knew
I'm more than you'll ever be
And despite your abuse
I'll be a better, stronger me
