‘Watch with Mother’

Aww can you remember Andy Pandy and Looby Lou pulling on those puppet strings like they used to do..Jumping about on our big box televisions, haha we watched it in black and white without any adult supervisions..

I used to be glued to the tele at  ‘Watch with Mother’ sat on a cushion on the floor with my brother, squibbling and a’squabbling with one another..but between us both there was not one to mend the tuther.. I loved the Wooden tops and he adored Bill and Ben, haha can you reminisce those flower pot men ? But Oh my goodness wern’t we happy back then ?

Daytime Watch with Mother was such a treat as you sat huddled together with your sibblings on a seat..dangling your legs over the edge and kicking your feet, our lives were carefree and so upbeat..And wern’t we all very happy with what we’d got, even though we hadn’t got alot..with not a trouble in our lives to care a jot..sitting with our colouring in book and that dot-to-dot...
