Watch Your Thoughts

As a youth he was reckless
So often he'd say
We're all dying anyways
Who would complain
...As he squashed flies
In the kitchen he worked...
But one day he'd seen
Something like nothing
He'd seen in his dreams
The end of his days
He swerved to the curve
As it came in a blaze
A truck still on fire
On fire in flames
The driver had croaked
The truck with no aim
Came straight for the boy
Who thought life was a game
His engine had died
And soon he would same
Croak like a joke
With no punchline in vain
For in those last seconds
A spirit proclaimed
"We're all dying anyways
Who would complain"

Onlooker!!!.........you're getting really good at omitting unnecessary words..........which is driving your narratives toward that which all writers dream of.........recognition..........you are making all the right moves..............your narrative was compelling and well delivered..........but.........what you have.......that many do not.............is curiosity...........you're evolving very quickly............poetry is one of the most underappreciated art forms..........and it is obvious you're doing it for the Love it..........keep that up......and the sky is the limit for you........I speak from experience and the LOVE of words in the sense that.........there is SO much more that could be done with them...............I am your friend..............well done brother.........T xo
