Watching Walls

Watching Walls

The ground is smiling at me.Β
No one understands.Β
The child is broken.Β
The child has no hands.Β

The walls seem angry.
They've seen what you've done.Β
But never will they speak, or ever come undone.Β

The ceiling won't cave on me
As much as I plead.Β
It only watches and judges me
Carrying on my misery.Β
