Poem -

We are all cut from the same cloth

We are all cut from the same cloth

Let those without sin cast the first stone, how few of us fall into this category
So many pretending to be holier than thou but we all fell from a similar tree
Being judgmental in itself can be sinful, looking down on the less fortunate
Put things into perspective, your opinions will become more proportionate
Treat all brothers as equals but how many of us actually do what we say
Without even realising we're all guilty of not doing so in some way everyday
Years have passed but nothing has really changed despite battle and war
Perhaps a rethink is needed as treating people as equals should not be a chore
So many lives have been lost over the months since this virus broke out
No one would say any life mattered less than another without any doubt
Remember everyday that we are all equal, not defined by what we look like or own
We're all human beings and fundamentally all of us are made up of skin and bone
Colour, creed and religion has set us apart causing too many wars for years
Look at each other as humans alike let's end all this heart break and tears
