We Are The Bigger Picture

Hi there, I’m Josie,

Let’s see, well not much rhymes with that,

But I have to say that mostly

I’ve grown up hating my name

Hating myself

And desiring fame,

But that’s a little too generic

So I’ll stop being eccentric,

Things are going aspheric,

Do I sound like an egocentric?

Okay, okay, I’ll stop,

But only if you drop

Your efforts to reach the top,

Pushing others down

To help you up

While they drown

In the cup

You drink from and frown

Because you’re displeased

With the jewels in your crown,

Watching the diseased

In their world that’s upside down,

Ignoring that we are all in the bigger picture.
