We Just Made The Guinness Book Of World Records

We Just Made The Guinness Book Of World Records

Photo of us, yesterday, putting on the finishing touches with gift wraps
.
It’s that crazy time of year again, to start shopping for Xmas gifts;
You are buying for all those loved ones, as the Christmas spirit you uplifts!
Linda and I had a very long list, our daughter-in-law had made us out;
Of what all the family wanted, we planned our attacking route!
.
We started really early, to beat the mad last-minute rush;
So Monday out we headed, then with crowds, we’d have no brush!
Our list was long and ponderous, our progeny is vast;
We thought that many days it would take, to get all, down to the last!
.
But our first day was amazing, we completed half of it;
We happed upon the right store, our excitement now was lit!
Then on Tuesday, we knew the right place, to complete our Xmas chores;
And sure enough, we found everything, in this large eclectic store!
.
We were floored that we were finished, in just two successful days;
If you would have told us that beforehand, we would have said, “No way”!
We toasted to our accomplishment, with a bottle of Merlot;
We kissed and held each other tight, the “greatest gift”, our love that grows!
.
.
                                      We got nice presents
                                 But money could never buy
                                      Our dear gift of love
