The Sands of Time run very quickly 
All to soon loved ones have to go
We're then parted by the greatest mystery
What happens next we do not know 
All we really can know for sure
Is loved ones are missed and grief is forever more 
the pain of being parted is sometimes too much to take
The grief and the loneliness makes your fragile heart ache
Time does not heal
You still miss them everyday 
But somehow you learn to live with this pain in a way
Soon the tears start to slow 
And Memories in your heart then leave a glow
That's when you realise they'll always be there
While you are able to remember. All the love you once shared
