Poem -

We too are wizards

We too are wizards

Big Bang
Gas clouds, galaxies and stars
Planets and life are born
Flowers bloom, as time delivers all
Richness and beauty that the wizards of the cosmos so choose

BUT we are that which is too
The products of stardust and swirl
Out of the primeval, come dancing amoebas
Then, we hunt, we gather, we farm
Then, we barter, we trade, we grow, we suffer, we survive
This is ours alone

YES, we too are wizards
You must remember?
Medicine, music, literature, art
Faith, charity and LOVE
Let’s cast our own spell
Let’s bow to time, then find a way
