Farewell

Farewell

You cannot light the dark
It was meant to be
Melancholy dreams and perception
Fade to a dull Black Sea

Loss arrives
Takes the place of breath
Of something familiar
And it becomes death

Yet balanceĀ  remains
The yin and the yang
Ebb and flow
The sum of energies clang

Life is a force
And death a tiny bell
A time and a place
For a humble soul to dwell.
