Weathered Treatment

Weathered Treatment

One,
Damn salty
Bitter pill to swallow, when the face
Puckers up
Savagely eating raw lemons
           And the wave
  Of euphoric wave
Came crashing down
Eroding, white sandy beaches
                 In my mind,
Preoccupied with predictions
Of internal damage, unaware
The chink in one's armor.

     Still, I raised
A glass of demise
Thinking......
Best damn way
To consume
Rancorous placebos.
