~ WEEPING WILLOW ~

Down to the ground your arms do weep
With the vital and gracious wings of a fairy dream
Where the ancient and the new dimension dangles
As graceful and sweeping mathematical triangles
Showering themselves down to the ground's very seams
How I adore the unique shade from your smile
To bask in your cool uniqueness a while
Such sweet refuge you bring to a warm summer's day
Where I can open my notebook and write the day away
How I adore the music your antennae provide
Such is the magic I find myself in, beneath your wings
Where anything is possible, where your mystique sings
With those vital and gracious wings from a fairy driven dream
Where such a setting is never ever quite what it seems
More a soliloquy in the chapters of the willow's happenings
Down to the ground your arms do weep
And sweep and sway their way into daydreams
I have become quite accustomed to your loving presence
I have tasted the life blood of your delicious essence
I more than grateful for the gift of your searing symphony
Weeping Willow, yours is the nature that ever conveys
The simplicity of beauty as we shade in your grace...
Tony Taylor

Weeping willows are all that you say.Β
And more, as tradition states anyone has the right to feed off there righteousness if they sit under one a cry real tears. And the branches will reach down as arms and comfort them.Β

Wow glad I caught your comment Liliana, I found such comfort in your words...never heard that before...that the branches reach down to comfort. We planted one out back for my son...I will always remember your words when I sit there x
Wow hugs my love. May your tree hug and stay the magical place you both find comfort. We are never really gone love is eternal.Β
Beautiful write as ever Tony...really enjoyed this my friend x
Sorry Tony for my lateness, but better late than never as they say. I love the weeping willow tree. I have always wanted to bonsai one for some reason. They hold such a beautiful message of hope and healing. They are considered a strong and versatile tree, able to adapt due to their long bendy branches. I love the tranquility of this piece, the mystical intent you take the reader on. I felt I was sat under that tree, connecting with nature and all its hidden wonders.Β
Beautiful writing as ever xx :)Β
