Weeps for me

During the day, the darkness sleeps
But a falling star, is one that weeps
Captured by the night I wait
For the reasons why I wake
Discouraged by hopelessness focused on the moon
Death designed will mine come soon?
Beyond the clouds, beyond the stars
Beyond the universe, beyond mars
Is there a heaven that awaits me?
I wonder if they will take me
Within the darkness that surrounds me
I found me
Beyond the galaxies, beyond realities
Beyond the mythical lies and prophecies
Is there something more?
Is there something worth dying for?
While the darkness sleeps I wonder why it exist
I wonder why we have to live through any of this
My soul hurts and my spirituality is unknown
Is Hell is where I shall call home?
Beyond my screams
Beyond my dreams
When darkness is seen
A fallen star is one that weeps...for me.

Amazing Write...the wording is so powerful. - Candace
Thank you Candace.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and comments. I am blessed that everyone likes what I write, it means the world to me.... Thanks again
Greetings Morris,
My fellow friend and powerful star Tupac just as Biggi, lived their lives in a lane of fast and furious, with no stop signs nor traffic lights to impede their unfortunate destinational demise.A young man was he, with the ability to capture many hearts, lecture and reason with the best of them and would have been with us today, if he had only took the time to set back and enjoy the cards, that his many fans and life, was willing to deal him, rather than play the cards, that he had hidden deep within his inner circle and was forced to play, due to his, (written in stone) life style.A star burnt out way to fast here on earth physically and all for the wrong reasons but will forever live on in the minds of those, that understood his plight and why he had to,(without being able to turn back) pursue it, in the manner which he did and had too.He lived fast, solely because he knew he had placed a time line, on the short, yet powerful life he had left on this earth, as he had always stated and felt, he truly had, "saw death around the corner" and in due time, it would be,(just as it did), be no longer around the corner but instead, staring him unfortunately, right in the face.I was in L.A. when they buried this young man and to this day, many still believe, that he lives on and that faking his death, was a publicity stunt...How nice, if it was true but you and i know it to be not. Another valuable life lost, with out rhyme nor specific reason....Job well done... As long as you write, he continue to live in the minds and hearts of all, that enjoyed what he artistically created...
Your Friend,
Jimmy
Great poem Morris, well done. Love reading your work. x
Jim thanks homie.. I'd tell you I could write a book in itself about 2pac.. I actually study a lot of his writings and words. Great man who died so young but his death people like me and you and a lot of us were created. His life, words and memory will forever be my motivation to keep my "no more pain" poetry alive.
thanks for your comments and there is a lot to come from me... Thank you for your continuos support.
loyalty!
louise thank you for your support, I really am blessed to have such a great support system from people I don't even know, so thank you.
Morris,
With much respect for you and for what you do and why you do it,keep it coming because you bring it from the heart, to all eyes to see and ears to hear and we truly love you for it....This young man was one of a kind and for those that knew him, truly miss him and always will and you i can tell, more than just knew him, you lived and still do live through him and was created from his pain, to end the pain of all others, that you have acquainted in your past, present and all future lives to come......You've taken what he had to convey, to another level in your poems. He to was more than a musical artist and actor as you well are aware and delved into poetry as well but you have dug the well deeper and continue to dig, with the many poems, you have unselfishly delivered from your table....So don't ever stop and (Pac) i am sure, is humbled, that you saved a place, at that table, for him......
