The Weight Of Loss

The Weight Of Loss

Better to have loved and loss
than to have never loved at all.
Who ever wrote that phrase
was obviously in the shallow end
of the water.
For had they experienced the true
depth of loves abyss,
they would have then realized
the magnitude of its loss.
What greater weight is there to bare
than the emptiness that fills an abandoned
heart.
So devastating the void
as with death,
better to have never been conceived
then to face the tormented reality
of exsistance.
