Poem -

Welfare Mum

The welfares been cut off, life is so hard for me.

How will I send my kids to school and pay tuition fees.

I’m a single mother with four kids to different dads

The thought of my children suffering just makes me so dam mad.

I’ve set up a go-fund-me page so you can help me out

The governments abandoned us and we can’t go without.

And the family gathers round the flat-screen on the wall.

And wonder why on earth they have been forsaken for.

Each one has an iphone and each one is overweight.

They chow down fast food as they continue the debate.

We cannot go to school with last years bag

And there is no way that we can buy off-brand.

Cutting down the food budget, how dare you call us fat.

That’s discrimination you cannot call us that.

For we are the entitled, all we know is greed.

Only buy the things we want and never what we need.
