What is fear

What is fear? 
Fear is not the same for all, be that it is the fear to speak or fall, fear cares not religion or race, it effects is all regardless of place, it is always here summer or winter, and eternal ember, waiting to be given life, transforming into a hindering strife, one can not escape the fire, for fear never tire, fear can not be explained, nor can it be tamed, for fear is a raging flame, searching for a victim to claim, how does one know when fear has presence, how does one gift that which effects not just kings but peasants, when one can no longer shed a tear,that's when it should be asked, what is fear?
