What I Wanted

Well I got what I wanted
Empty house and me needed
One dog and a big black cat
A note, "if it moves feed it..!"

Being needed is something
To be used is another
The cat is out right selfish
Dogs ask why should I bother

I cant speak a lick of Dutch
These animals were raised here
The cat's meow sounds the same
This dog's steer is very clear

The cat was here before me
So I have to respect him
But the dog knows I am new
So, I'm along with his whim

The cat wants to whoop the dog
But Prince just wants to read post
I'm in the middle for sure
Wondering how I got so lost

I still like to be wanted
Just not by these abusers
No disrespect Mr. Sam
Else for bitches and losers

I put up with these critters
And feed them well in their time
One day my needs will be met
If I can make it through test
