I wouldn't know the colour of the sky

I wouldn't know what happens when we die

I would give up at the first hurdle and wouldn't try

I would have no money for things to buy

I wouldn't afford a house and live in a sty
What if I hadn't asked why ?
I wouldn't be so upset and would then not cry

So I am grateful and thankful to always ask why
I know that if I didn't my life would be a lie
