"What I'm Made For"

"What I'm Made For"

"Unfailing are His Eyes,
The Eyes of God they see,
every little bit of me,
and my past mistakes,
that I wish to stay,
just a memory,
for I am flawed,
and humbled by that,
my heart has finally thawed.

It is an open door,
and it's arm reaches out,
in greeting and support,
that's what I am here for,
to make you laugh,
to make you smile,
if only for a little while,
and lessen the stress,
of the lives,
we've made such a mess,
that with our sobriety and God,
we will be able to fix.
We're all wiser now,
knowing some of the Devil's tricks."
