Poem -

What kind of mother

I trusted you
I told you everything
And you never did a single thing
To protect your poor defenseless daughter

What kind of mother
Puts her own child in dangerΒ
And let's them harbor anger
For the father they should have always loved

You told me you told him
But all you told him was a lie
Now the truth is out and he only wonders why
You never told him the true story

What kind of mother
Lets these things slip by
Making her own daughter want to die
Because she wasn't worth anyone's time

He would have protected me
But you wanted to protect your son
After all the things I've seen and done
I blame you for not being a mother
