Poem -

bluebells

What a wondrous day

The day

The little boy came out to play

He wandered among the bluebell clumps

To sit beneath whispering trees

And thought he head the swallows

Call his name apon the breeze

Ā

But for many years, a lifetime

He had sat in a prison cell

Whose walls were made of voices

That told him he was bold

And whose bars were made of teardrops

Gathered from wounds of old

Ā

But led by lifes teachers

And helped to stand by loving hands

The little boy inside the man

Felt safe to come out and play

So when the joy of the child

Within us

Is set free from its prison cell

Life becomes a jewel

Heaven sent for you and me.
