Whatever Lola Wants

Whatever Lola Wants

This poem is dedicated to Deb Evan's, and her dear friend who lost his little soulmate "Lola" on Friday.

There’s a new little darling up in Heaven now, who has taken it quite by storm;

She got her wings the very first day, which is usually not the norm!

But when the Angels saw her, they knew it then, her beauty would take her far;

Whatever Lola wants, she is sure to get, the choice of any star!

The first thing that she plans to do, is send a message every day;

Saying, “Daddy, I’ll always love you, and in the future we both again shall play”!

“This is just a little interval, when we both have had to part”;

“But our souls are joined forever, and I’ll be waiting for our brand new start”!

My Dear Sweet Rose,

It is so beautiful, this family that we share on Cosmo, who are always there in our times of need.  I have lost track of how many times their beautiful words have brought me comfort and solace.  To quote an old song, "We are Family, I got all my loved ones and me".

Love you too,

Daddio xxx

My Dear Debs,

In our haste to post it, we forgot to dedicate it to you and your dear friend Ian.  We have just corrected our little faux pas.  We are so happy that this touched your heart, and you feel it will touch Ian's too.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

Hi Larry, you have a good heart ### I love people who love animals especially dogs. Oh Lola, so cute. she is now in heaven! I believe animals have souls too. Deb and her friend would be very much delighted for sure. I have a dog too and i just don't know what to do when that time comes. #### I know his days are counting. I had to make a tough decision whether to let him go or not last Saturday### but he responded with a waggling tail when he heard me saying "I have to say goodbye to you my friend", he tilted his head and wagged his tail. I knew then what he meant. I made the right decision. He's doing now. we are having fun together. He's fourteen years old.

Love and hugs

happy Cosmo family member,

Leah

Hi Leah,

I see you started on Cosmo in January, and our paths have just crossed with your beautiful words about "Whatever Lola Wants".  People that have been following me for the last year and one half all know about my beautiful soulmate "Nico", my beloved Bichon, whom I lost two years ago at just short of fourteen years old.  He was not my pet!  He was my son, and I still cry for him several times a day. I've written hundreds of poems about him, and I am currently trying to compile them for a book.  The story you have just related about your little doggie has touched my heart deeply, because Nico's younger brother "Cody" has recently turned fourteen also, and is battling pancreatitis.  The vet has him on a very special diet with medicine that seems to be working, but we hold our breaths every day.  We share a common bond with our little soulmates, and our poetry.  I would like us to become friends, and help one another through our trying times.  I'm going to read some of your poems today and leave comments.  Again, thank you for your beautiful words.

Peace and Love,

Larry xxx
