The Wheels on the Bus

The wheels on the bus go round and round. The kids are all dead and the driver no where to be found. The police are on scene, they're all at a loss. Not a clue in sight and They're all going to have a hard time sleeping tonight. The parents all mourn, the sitters rejoice, the teachers are in limbo and need to make a choice. Do they celebrate on Rio or Hawaii, what a choice!
The driver is in hiding, he's not doing well.
He can't sleep a wink, their voices still haunt him, he can't even think.
But it's all just a dream, it's all in his head. He sat up with a jolt, straight up in his bed.
So next time you think, let's mess with the driver. It's all fun and games till the bus fills with fire.

Wow Jenn, that write was interesting, disturbing and thought provoking all at the same time, I did at least 3 double takes after reading, got my attention....a truly dark and mercurial write, very creative with excellent tempo, though troubling is the scenario painted, I find it to be an extremely well constructed poem and interesting, but dark poem...cheers
