Poem -

when I die

when I die

I will fight to live
Not because I fear death
Or fear how I died
If it took a short time or long time to go
Was it painful or not
Where will I go
The stuff don't matter after the last breath of life
What matters to me in that moment between life and death is you.
The love of my life
The beat of my heart
The air in my voice
My world
My everything
When I die you will be the last thought I will ever think
I will hope did I love you right?
Did I spend enough time with you?
Are you going to be okay?
When I die you'll be on my mind forever.
