when i was your moon bride…
“I never knew you could have moonlight in your hands ‘til the night I held you…you, are my moonlight…moon, light…”
I know your red kiss, it’s raspberry taste so sweet with a fire taking me into its warmth
I know your blue eyes, like the glistening morning sea sweeping me away in the cool island breeze
I know this pure soul, who comforted me and kept me close; who gifted me every morning with a single rose
I know this true love, as if it flowed through my heart once before; many moons ago
I’ve felt this fire, I’ve swum this sea, I know this dream that continues to please me
I was once your moon bride, in another life
