when stars lose their glitter

i stared out into the night

and almost ran from fright

....looked at the stars

and the planet mars

i asked where is life..tell me..where can i find

whisper them with a touch of passion

utter them with significance, faced with legence

maybe with a hint of southwestern philosophy

...the good, the bad and the ugly...

oh how far gone is futility..

when blood is drawn from lies..

never lie when when truth is like the wind

never lie when the air is clear

when you look up at the sky...

the stars in their heavenly splendor..

might lose their shine, their glitter..
