Where Am I?

Where Am I?

Slipped into another world
Maybe, could it be?
I don’t know how
I can not see for what is around me
I do not know
Where am I?

Speeding down the road to make an amber light
Thought I would make it through, did I?
Why it is so dark?
How can I observe what I can not see
Where am I?

All I hear is a voice
Sometimes a whisper, sometimes a scream
Reverbing off the corners of my mind
Waiting to take a breathe of my light
Slipping is all I do, nobody can save me
Not even you
Where am I?

It’s blacker than dark, darker than black
Can feel a door but there’s no key
Can not see any light
Am I going mad?
Has one become two, I don’t think so
How to know
Where am I?

Lonesome traveller on a road of solace
No arms can reach me, no voice can reason
I must find my exit
The only way is up, can not fade to blue
Wait! I’m the key
Where am I?
