Where do I Live

Where do I Live

Ahsan Habib

29th May, 2012

Where do I live?

Everyone is around me,

But none is known.

And everyone is unknown to each other.

If this is a river,

Why can't I freely flow

Like the water;

Why do certain shameless puppets

Build dams across the river?

Is the amorous lap of land better than the ruthless river?

Are there no puppets, no pirates, no dams?

Can’t I pound the puppets?

Can’t I kill the pirates?

Can’t I dash the dams?

Can’t I rejuvenate the river

To freely flow like the water?
