Where do we go from here

What's happening to you?
What's going on inside of me?
This distance that keeps growing
Stirs a fear for whats to be.
Every second these walls grow taller,
Streaming tears at last are showing.
My misery meets darkness,
No longer seeing, no longer knowing.
Desperation has my mind racing,
Searching for just one clue
To piece this all together,
And find the missing part of you.
The part that looked at me like I was
Priceless in your eyes.
Now nothing but a memory
Gone in a blink without a goodbye.
I cant do this on my own,
I don't know which fight it is I face.
Guessing has be getting nowhere,
So I dream of escaping this place.
Is it this addiction that has stolen
The love from you?
Or did you awake to a life
That you would give anything to undo?
I can't be certain which it is
I just need to know what's true.
But for now I'll just keep praying
For the light to return in you.
