Lost In This Life

Lost......Broken,

Endless fears unspoken.

Torn.......Shattered,

This Heart that NEVER mattered.

Lies.......Deception,

Striving for perfection.

Empty.........Hollow,

Yet Pain is sure to follow.

Hopeless......Failure,

Shame is mine to treasure.

Weary.........Weak,

With nothing left to seek.

Thank you so much. I always loved to write but I haven't had a chance in quite some time. Thanks for the encouragement. I was so nervous about putting it out there. I look forward to reading more stuff from you as well :)
