WHERE HAS IT GONE?
Gentle and kind
with real love on their mind
Where have they gone
what has gone wrong?
I don’t know
I really pray
That it will all
come back some day
Where has all
the protection gone
A man for a woman
 battered and torn?
Where did it go
 and I wonder why
Will it come back
 will it try?
To bring back the love
to bring back the peace
Between man and woman
will the violence cease?
Will true love rule
 and reign
Will real happiness
be here again?
I don’t know
 why it went
 when true love
 was heaven sent!

I LOVE THIS LYN!!!........I've been thinking of writing on this subject matter because it really does bother me............there seems to have been some kind of break-down in general manners and gentlemen's approach to the lovely etiquette of courtship and maintaining relationships through honorable kindness. "Where Has It Gone?" is the perfect title............"Gone With The Wind!" is the perfect answer........because in that book and in that movie the manners that men and women display during courtship have completely vanished..............the idea today is "Go ahead and get married!!" .....and the thinking is "If it doesn't work ~ DIVORCE!"..........there is no longer any commitment in getting married.........it's like your first marriage is just for practice.........Oh my!! I could go on forever about this because it makes me angry........anyway, I LOVE YOUR WRITE ~ and I think this subject matter needs to have more light shined upon it!!.........well done my friend...........always a pleasure.............hugs-n-smiles..............T xo
Lyn this a well written piece, I can't help but to agree with T, I see so many fall in love for the wrong reasons and divorce is definitely an out instead of communication. Love is about compromise and coping through life, you are not always going to get along or agree but it's how you stick together through the bad. Allstars enjoyed.
